I am busy working on a small glass panel with seedy glass surrounding a red rose bud.  It's simple but beautiful.  I've had to set it aside for a few days as I cut one of my fingers pretty deeply while breaking a piece that I'd just scored.  But I am anxious to get back to work on it because I think it's going to be a hit.  As soon as I've finished it, I'll be posting it to the site for purchase.
If anyone has a special request for a panel, suncatcher, ornament, etc. I'd love to craft it for you.  I've also done a couple of the fan shaped lamps in the past, if that might be something anyone is interested in.  Candle holders, vases, pen cups, business card holders, the more colorful the better.  I've even done a few picture frames.  One day I am going to create a piece similar to the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany.  Stay tuned.

I've always loved creating things; drawings, paintings, pottery, jewelry,  textiles and in the last few years, glass art.  Art is a form of therapy for me.  It's a process that soothes and calms like nothing else.  The patterns, colors  and textures are all so beautiful and  weave a seductive spell sitting there, daring me to start that next project.  The excitement and anticipation build and I can't wait to get to work on the next work of beauty.  Working with glass is a challenge, and sometimes frustrating.  I've often heard other glass artists refer to the process as that of building your own puzzle.  Making sure the pieces fit together just right is where the frustration comes in.  But in the end I am always amazed and a little thrilled at what I have created.
I've taken lessons in the traditional lead came method and I am completely self-taught in the copper foil method.  I find that I prefer the copper foil method for smaller pieces and the traditional lead came for the larger pieces.  I've come to enjoy the challenges that 3D pieces present.   I am always on the hunt for interesting patterns that can translate into a beautiful glass art piece.  The majority of pieces you'll see here are original, with no pattern used, just an idea transformed into art.

I am a Louisiana native currently living and working in the Houston, TX metro area.  I grew up loving to draw and had an aunt who was a professional artist who inspired me to continue with it.  I've gotten away from it from time to time, but I always come back to what I love most.  Aside from being an artist, I operate a full time Virtual Assistant  practice, and reside with my husband, my son and two wonderfully loyal and loving dogs.
